A Day in the Lab:
Where Curiosity Meets Discovery
The adventure begins! We use this time for Invitational Learning. Students might enter to find a "crime scene" for Fairytale Court—a broken chair or a lock of golden hair—instantly launching them into the day’s mystery.

We launch with a whole-group introduction before rotating through our high-engagement learning centers:
• The Mentor Studio (Teacher Center): Small-group, personalized academic coaching. Whether we are mastering ruler measurements at the Mathlete’s Olympics or diving into fractions, we break down complex skills with hands-on support tailored to each child’s level.
• The Collaboration Hub (Peer Work): Students build social-emotional mastery through game-based learning. In our Around the World in 72 Hours lab, pairs might navigate coordinate points on a map or plot landmarks across global territories.
• The Discovery Studio (Sensory-Based Inquiry): A sensory-rich independent zone. In our Candy Lab, students might use their sense of smell to design new flavor profiles or use gummy bears to create 3D production graphs. This is where “doing” turns into “understanding.”
Group Wrap-Up: We conclude rotations by coming together for a final team challenge—whether it's a jury deliberation, a "Candy Invention" pitch, or an Olympic obstacle course.

Reflection & Mastery
We close the Learning Lab with quiet moments for journaling and updating Mastery Portfolios. This ensures the day's discoveries are captured and celebrated.

Dismissal & Valet Exit
• The Valet Exit: Parents can simply pull up; we will walk your learner directly to your vehicle for a seamless transition.
• Final Pick-up: All half-day students must be picked up by 12:30 PM (AM) or 3:30 PM (PM).
• Full-Day Transition: Students staying for the full day enjoy a supervised break for hand-washing and restrooms before lunch begins at 12:30 PM. Weather permitting, we enjoy a picnic-style lunch on the lawn!
