Tests Measure Memory; Evaluations Measure Mastery.
Standardized tests are a snapshot of a single day. If a child is tired, anxious, or just a “bad tester,” the results are skewed. An evaluation is a holistic review.
Don’t let a stressful three-hour test define a whole year of hard work. Our Homeschool Evaluations - Celebrations of Learning - look at portfolios, projects, and progress that a bubble sheet cannot see.
During the Celebration of Learning process, I identify your child’s unique strengths and learning style, ensuring the school district sees their true growth.
When you purchase the online tests as your end of year proof of progress, you are in compliance with s22.1-254.1. With an evaluation, you are not just getting a signature for the superintendent; you’re receiving a professional consultation. I help you spot gaps, celebrate wins, and plan your curriculum for next year.
Swap three days of testing anxiety for a one-hour conversation. My goal is to make "Evidence of Progress” a celebration of what your child can do, not a search for what they can’t.

“Progress isn’t a one-size-fits-all metric; it’s as unique as the child and the journey they’re on. We evaluate because we value growth, but we celebrate because the most meaningful progress is created by the learner and for the learner. My mission is to honor that unique journey - measuring the skills mastered and the interests and deep dives that truly shape a learner for life.”
Toni Soliday, M.Ed.
